Gargrave libraryhand Dave Stannard's Leeds Playhouse history

Gargrave Community Library volunteer, Dave Stannard, has written a history of Leeds Playhouse which will soon be available at libraries in the region. The book, entitled Leeds Playhouse: A Tale of Two Theatres, starts in the 1960s, when residents campaigned for a repertory theatre in the city. It also tells the story of the theatre's relocation to Quarry.
