GARDAI are probing whether the thugs who targeted Nikita Hand’s home are behind another house raid on other innocent people in the same area. We can reveal a different property close to the mum’s former home in Drimnagh, Dublin , was ransacked just a week before her home was invaded by a group of masked men in June. Investigators are looking into whether the incidents were linked after the same number of raiders were involved in both invasions.

They also identified possible links as the raiders used the same “modus operandi” and made similar threats. Details of the raid on Ms Hand’s home could be revealed after a High Court jury ruled that Conor McGregor raped Ms Hand at the Beacon Hotel, in south Dublin, in December 2018. Before Friday’s ruling was made in the civil case against the MMA star, details of the invasion were heard in court — but Mr Justice Alex Owens ruled the evidence was “irrelevant”.

Following the incident at her home, Ms Hand later left the area. Today The Irish Sun on Sunday can reveal another property close to Ms Hand’s was also targeted by thugs. One local told us last night: “There were a number of attacks .

Nikita has moved. She had to move. “There was another house attacked.

“I would have known her well, she lived in the area for years. “I’m glad that she won, I’m glad for her, she got the verdict she deserved. She has been through a lot.

” Cops are investigating whether the two terrifying raids could be linked. One source told us: “ Gardai in Crumlin are looking at the possibility that the two attacks might be linked. “An extensive investigation is under way to establish the identity of those behind the attack on Ms Hand’s home.

“The people targeted in the first attack were also completely innocent and it’s possible those wishing to harm Ms Hand carried out the other attack.” During legal argument at the High Court, the court heard how the gang were “driven out” by Ms Hand’s partner, who suffered stab wounds in the attack. The court was also told her daughter called 999.

Before leaving, the raiders broke the front windows of the house and fled. Ms Hand’s legal team said they were claiming the raid was not an “untargeted attack” and that it “arose from supporters of Mr McGregor”. But they said they were not claiming McGregor or his co-defendant had anything to do with it.
