Tonight's game in Lincoln, Neb., is basically that Paul Rudd in "Hot Ones" meme come to life. Illinois and Nebraska are both 3-0, both ranked in the Associated Press Top 25.

Literally, who would have thought? So this game takes on a bit more importance for both sides. It's also something of a "prove it" game for the Illini and Cornhuskers. Yes, they're 3-0 with a solid win.

(As long as Kansas and Colorado don't full go in the tank). But this is probably the stiffest challenge both teams will face. How tonight's game plays out could alter the direction of both teams' season.

A win for Illinois would provide terrific momentum heading into next week's game at No. 10 Penn State. A loss could send the Illini limping into a difficult month with the Nittany Lions in addition to No.

18 Michigan and No. 9 Oregon looming. Nebraska could take a win and turn it into a 7-0 record heading into what would then be a huge game on Oct.

26 at Ohio State. A loss wouldn't be a killer for the Cornhuskers, but it would certainly sap some of them momentum and good feelings they built the first three weeks. So, yeah, big game tonight in Lincoln.
