Recently, a source has disclosed two additional AI features that may be introduced. According to this information, the Gemini AI assistant is expected to be integrated with various first-party applications, enabling it to execute more sophisticated tasks. As reported by Technoblog, the South Korean technology leader is preparing to unveil two new AI functionalities for the Galaxy S25 series that have not yet been announced.

The source claims to have obtained promotional images of the smartphone lineup that outline these features. The first feature involves the integration of Google's Gemini with Samsung's proprietary applications. The source indicated that Gemini will have access to applications such as Calendar, Notes, and Reminder, thereby allowing the AI-driven virtual assistant to perform more complex tasks that were previously unattainable.

This feature was also mentioned by a user on X (formerly Twitter). According to the shared image, users can activate the assistant by saying “Hey Gemini” and request it to extract specific information from a YouTube video and save it in Samsung Notes, which it will be capable of doing. It is noteworthy that Gemini can already interface with several Google applications, including Maps and YouTube, through extensions.

It appears that similar extensions will be utilized for Samsung applications to facilitate access for the AI assistant. However, given that the company has already hinted at an AI enhancement for Bixby, it raises concerns about whether a deeper integration of Gemini could adversely affect Bixby's user adoption.
