com/NxhQubOSDI — GSMArena.com (@gsmarena_com) September 19, 2024 The Galaxy A56 is anticipated to incorporate the new Exynos 1580 chipset. As reported by the Samsung community, this chipset features a robust architecture comprising Cortex-A720 and Cortex-A520 cores.

For graphical performance, it is equipped with the advanced Xclipse 540 GPU. Furthermore, the Exynos 1580 is rumored to include an enhanced NPU, which is capable of managing Galaxy AI and is expected to compete with the flagship Exynos 2100 in this regard. However, a thorough evaluation of the chipset's real-world performance will be necessary before making any definitive assessments regarding its overall capabilities.

The chipset was previously identified on Geekbench, achieving single and multi-core scores of 1046 and 3578, respectively. The device on which it was tested operates on Android version 15, as indicated by the Geekbench listing. This suggests that the chipset will utilize a 1+3+4 architecture, which appears to prioritize performance improvements over the 4+4 architecture of the Exynos 1480 chipset found in its predecessor.

While details about other features of the Galaxy A56 remain limited, insights can be drawn from its predecessor to gauge expectations. The Galaxy A55 features a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a brightness capability of 1000 nits (HBM).

For clarification, HBM denotes a phone's brightness performance in direct sunlight or other challenging lighting conditions. It also promises four years of major Android updates. Exclusive: Samsung Begins Work on Galaxy A56 https://t.
