When Sacha Boey was signed by Bayern Munich from Galatasaray for 30 million euros, it looked like a transfer that could have been a diamond in the rough. Although, for 30 million, expectations were high for a right back for that price tag. Needless to say so far, Boey has not proved that price tag.
When Galatasaray approached Bayern to loan Boey back in January, Christoph Freund rejected to maintain the squad depth.
