
Mumbai’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has now become involved in the controversy surrounding comedian Kunal Kamra’s indirect jibes at Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction has filed a written complaint with the EOW, demanding an investigation into the funding of Kamra’s show held in Khar.According to EOW sources, the complaint was submitted on Wednesday, alleging that Kamra may have been financially backed to defame Eknath Shinde.
