Fulham's social media team aimed a brutal dig at former star Tosin Adarabioyo following their Boxing Day win over Chelsea. The Cottagers recorded a dramatic 2-1 victory over their London rivals at Stamford Bridge, courtesy of two late goals from Harry Wilson and Rodrigo Muniz. Despite leading for the majority of the game after Cole Palmer 's 16th-minute opener, the Blues were left stunned as Wilson and Muniz then netted on 82 and 95 minutes to steal the three points.
The last-gasp scenes sparked wild celebrations in the away end, with this Fulham's first win at Stamford Bridge since 1979. And the club's social media team were quick to mark the occasion, as they taunted their west London neighbours online after the match. Following the win, the Whites took aim at former defender Adarabioyo , who left Craven Cottage for Chelsea in the summer, by uploading a series of snaps of him on their TikTok page.
One image shows the 27-year-old signing for the Blues, alongside his comments upon joining: "If you can't beat them, join them." In a brutal post, Adarabioyo can then be seen looking on as his ex-teammate Wilson heads home Fulham's equaliser, followed by a picture of him at full-time alongside the final scoreline. The savage dig drew plenty of attention online, with plenty of fans flocking to the comments section to share their thoughts.
One amused user wrote: "Fulham admin is probably the best admin." This went down well with the admin, who quickly replied: "Today you woke up and decided to talk facts." And Fulham's social media team were clearly still in a jubilant mood later, as another supporter proudly proclaimed west London as black and white.
To this, they came back with: "Say it louder." But others were less impressed by Fulham's social media antics, and claimed that the post was disrespectful to their former player. One commented: "Not a Chelsea fan but no matter the circumstance, you don't roast your former player like that.
"Players can always talk to impress their new club, get their fans, clubs are beyond that. low from admin." Meanwhile, another was quick to point out that Adarabioyo has arguably had the last laugh since joining Chelsea, who currently sit second in the Premier League.
They wrote: "Tosin is also sat at 2nd in the league with a European goal on his tally whilst being a centre-back." Adarabioyo spent four years at Fulham, having joined from Manchester City in 2020 after progressing through the club's youth ranks. He quickly established himself as a vital part of the Whites' backline, making 132 appearances over four years, and helped his side gain promotion back to the Premier League in 2022.
Consistent impressive performances in the top-flight saw the Englishman earn a move to Stamford Bridge over the summer, where he has since made 15 appearances in all competitions, scoring once. He will now be looking to help his current employers to bounce back in their next match against Ipswich, having lost more ground on leaders Liverpool , who sit seven points clear at the Premier League summit after victory over Leicester ..
