Fiji Rugby Union chairman John Sanday emphasised the importance of building and strengthening the foundation of the rugby house this year. The chairman shared his greeting and reflections with the rugby fraternity as the new season dawns. “2024 was a year of challenges, and while it wasn’t our very best, we have come through well.
Together, we navigated hurdles, celebrated victories, and learned from our experiences,” he said. That journey, he said, had laid the groundwork for an exciting and transformative 2025. He described the year 2025 as a year for embracing opportunities, improving systems, and inspiring players and supporters alike.
Sanday also acknowledged all players, coaches, managers and administrators who have contributed to the growth and development of Fiji Rugby. “Medical teams, referees, and all who tirelessly work behind the scenes at clubs and unions. Parents and single parents, for their unwavering support and sacrifices,” he said.
He also expressed special appreciation to the sponsors who continue to believe in the vision of Fiji Rugby..
