Frontier Airlines Will Return To Boise & Spokane When 14 Routes Launch This Summer

All services will start in May.

Frontier Airlines has announced more than a dozen routes starting in May this year. The ultra-low-cost carrier will provide several new connections, and among those will be flights to Denver International Airport from Boise and Spokane. 14 routes this summer Budget carrier Frontier Airlines will launch 14 routes in May this year, increasing its operations across the country and nearby international destinations.

The airline will offer services across several routes, including those from one coast to the other and to the Caribbean. Frontier will also return to Boise Airport in Idaho (BOI) and Spokane International Airport in Washington (GEG) when it starts offering non-stop flights to Denver International Airport (DEN). Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines, commented, “Our continued network growth is a win for consumers as we offer more nonstop destinations, both domestically and internationally, at our signature ultra-low fares.



With new affordable travel options across the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico—which join our already expansive network—budget-savvy consumers will be able to do and see more for less with Frontier this year.

” Frontier’s network has undergone several changes recently, including the suspension of many services. In December, it was reported that the ultra-low-cost carrier could drop or reduce capacity on over 40 routes . Some of these reductions were also from its major bases, including Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Denver International Airport (DEN), and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).

New routes The 14 routes will all be launched in May, when travel demand for the summer season picks up. Frontier is also offering promotional fares as low as $19, provided they are purchased by 23:59 Eastern time on February 24, 2025. These fares are valid for non-stop travel on select days of the week from May 15, 2025, through August 18, 2025.

More information can be found on the airline’s website. From Denver, Frontier will start flying to Boise three times a week on May 15 and to Spokane three times a week from May 20. The intro fare on both these routes is $29.

Some other routes that will start in May include those from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) to Miami and Philadelphia, Nashville International Airport (BNA) to Cleveland, Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Cleveland, Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN) to Miami, and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) to Nashville. The full list of routes can be found here . Return to Boise This isn’t the first time that Frontier has offered flights between Boise Airport and Denver International Airport.

According to BoiseDev , the airline first suspended service between the two destinations in 2011 and then brought it back in 2017, only to stop it again. Josh Flyr, Frontier's vice president of network and operations design, commented, “There is strong demand for ultra-low fare travel options in and out of Boise, and we are thrilled to make our return to BOI. This is a great day for Idaho consumers, who will now enjoy affordable and convenient air travel to Denver and the many destinations we serve beyond.

” According to the Boise Airport website, it is served by ten airlines to 27 destinations. Nonstop flights are offered by all major airlines, such as Delta, United, and American Airlines, as well as Southwest, Alaska, Allegiant, and Spirit. Frontier offered the carrier's stakeholders to receive a $400 million principal amount of second-lien debt issued by Frontier and 19.0% of Frontier's common equity following the proposed combination. Spirit, however, did not agree with the terms and conditions and submitted a counterproposal for its shareholders to get $600 million in debt and $1.
