A man who identified himself as a former engineer at a tech company has been discovered begging on the streets of Bengaluru. His story came to light after three videos were shared on Instagram by user @sharath_yuvaraja_official over a week ago.

In the first video, the man, wearing a red T-shirt and appearing disheveled, claimed to have worked for a leading tech consulting firm in Global Village Tech Park—now known as Sattva Global City—near Mysuru Road before leaving his job. According to the man, he began drinking heavily after losing his parents, which ultimately led him to a life of begging.



The Instagram account that uploaded the videos stated that he was initially found on JSS College Road in Jayanagar 8th Block. A commenter mentioned spotting him in Jayanagar’s 4th Block days earlier, allegedly in an intoxicated state. Reports indicate that he refused assistance when offered help.
