Bhaderwah Nov 24: The residents of J-K’s Bhaderwah said they had a sigh of relief after the region witnessed snowfall after a prolonged dry spell that had affected its agriculture and tourism industry, residents and officials said. The Guldanda meadow along the Bhaderwah-Pathankot highway, which saw a massive footfall of tourists last year had almost been deserted until yesterday when the meadow was blanketed by thin layer of snow. Locals said, tourists have already started to visit the place.
Vendors like 33-year-old Imran Ali had been eagerly waiting for the snow. “After this place saw a massive footfall last year, we were expecting same flow this year too, now with the fresh snowfall we hope to see our expectations turn to reality,” Imran Ali, resident of Village Basti told Greater Kashmir..
