Frenchman Fire breaks out in Angeles National Forest

Why now: Celeste Morales, public affairs officer for the Angeles National Forest, told LAist that with the red flag warnings and Santa Ana winds, weather is a big concern.

“Firefighters will most likely be working throughout the night,” she said. “We are still at 10% containment, and you never really know until you're 100%, so firefighters will continue working towards that.” The backstory: The Frenchman Fire broke out shortly after 12 p.
