April 12 Arbor Day Tree Seedling Giveaway The annual Arbor Day Tree Seedling Giveaway is organized by Keep Roswell Beautiful (KRB) in partnership with the city of Roswell Parks and Recreation Department. From 9 to 11 a.m.

, Roswell residents can pick up free seedlings, as well as free reusable KRB shopping totes, reusable tumblers, reusable "Toss No Mas" car trash containers from the New Mexico Department of Transportation and energy-saving LED light bulbs from Xcel Energy. , will be holding its annual Pancake Breakfast and Bake Sale on April 5 from 7:30 to 10 a.m. The low ticket fee will get you two generously sized pancakes, sausage and coffee, milk or juice.

April 11 Emmy Award winner Bob Boze Bell book signing and art show "America's Western Storyteller," Bob Boze Bell, comes to Roswell for his Triple B Art Show. Bell is an artist, author and writer, serving as executive editor of True West magazine. He appeared as an expert on the Old West in dozens of Wild West history shows.

Bell won an Emmy Award as executive producer of the PBS special, "Outrageous Arizona," a zany look at the state's centennial, which he also wrote and helped direct. For more information, email [email protected] .

The museum is still working on the flood recovery and is closed. This year's themes are "Art Unites" and "Resilience and Recovery" to illustrate the importance of arts and culture in communities and to unite all people in the spirit of creativity, particularly in the aftermath of the flood. m. to noon. The activities include planting native wildflowers and cacti.
