Free parking offered by Taunton Town Council this weekend

Free parking will be available both tomorrow (Saturday, December 14) and next week (Saturday, December 21). It is believed that the council's offer has been brought in to assist those doing their Christmas shopping and to attract visitors to the town. This includes: "Taunton Town Council is funding FREE parking in most Somerset Council Town Centre car parks* on Saturdays 14 and 21 December," said a spokesperson from Taunton Town Council. "This does not include on-street parking and only relates to the car parks listed. "Where parking is free, there will be a cover over the pay machine.
