Free DSC coaching across AP from today

Minister for BC, EWS, Handloom and Textiles, S. Savitha, announced that the state government, under Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, will offer free DSC coaching through BC Study Circles starting today (Saturday) at 26 district headquarters. This initiative aims to support backward class candidates in preparing for the DSC exams.

Savitha explained that after assuming office, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy signed a memorandum to implement DSC recruitment to fill 16,347 teaching positions. She emphasized that the BC Welfare Department is offering free coaching not just to BC candidates but also to other marginalized social groups. The coaching will be available to candidates with a B.



Ed qualification who have cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). The allocation of seats in the study circles will be 66% for BCs, 20% for SCs, and 14% for STs, with an additional 10% reserved for economically weaker section (EWS) candidates. The coaching will last for two months, during which candidates will receive a stipend of Rs 1,500 per month, along with Rs 1,000 for study materials.

In addition to offline coaching, the government plans to offer online DSC coaching for candidates who cannot attend the sessions in person. A special website will be launched to provide expert-led classes, along with past question papers and model papers for practice..
