Frederick County Board of Elections office evacuated after bomb threat on Friday

Workers at the Frederick County Board of Elections office were forced to evacuate on Friday after an unknown person sent an email claiming to have placed a bomb in the building on Progress Drive, police said. Officers from the Frederick Police Department and deputies from the Frederick County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene to investigate the threat, which was ultimately deemed not credible.
