Franklin ensures all hydrants flow well

Liberty Street in Franklin was briefly confined to the westbound portion of the street late Wednesday morning as city workers and the Franklin Fire Department were purging fire hydrants. A city pickup truck, equipped with a diffuser, went from hydrant to hydrant along Liberty Street and was followed by a Franklin Fire Department truck to keep traffic from disrupting the work.
