Frank Lauria Jr. to exit office after 46 years, leaving one Democrat on Fulton County board

Seasoned Gloversville Supervisor Frank Lauria Jr.’s upcoming exit from politics could leave Fulton County government with a Democratic super-minority unseen in years. The 73-year-old Ward 2 representative has decided to retire after 23 years on the county Board of Supervisors and more than four decades in local electoral politics.
