
President Donald Trump ’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, officially has a new gig after being hired by Fox News to host her own new show. The new gig comes as Lara, who is married to the President’s son, Eric Trump , has been eyeing a new plan for her future after stepping down as the co-chair of the Republican National Convention . Previously, it was said she was eyeing the Florida Senate seat that was vacated by Marco Rubio so he could fulfill his new role as the Secretary of State.
Now, following additional reports that her father-in-law couldn’t “stand her” and made fun of her looks, she has officially landed her new job. The show will be one she hosts solo, after previous appearances on the network.
According to the Associated Press , Trump will be hosting a new weekend show on the network. The hour-long series, titled “My View with Lara Trump,” will air at 9 p.m.
on Saturday nights. In an announcement by the network, they shared that the show will “focus on the return of common sense to all corners of American life as the country ushers in a new era of practicality.” The new gig comes after she stepped down as the co-chair of the Republican National Committee.

She resigned from the post on December 9 of that year, one month after her father-in-law won his second term in the White House. Prior to the RNC, she had also been a contributor on Fox, making appearances in 2021 and 2022.
The news of her new gig led to mixed reactions on social media, as Fox News fans praised it, but critics called it out. “Fox News just signed Lara Trump to host a primetime show. Imagine the MAGA Outrage is MSNBC were to pay Hunter Biden for a primetime show during Biden’s presidency,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter ).
