FOX made a special Super Bowl announcement live on the Thanksgiving pregame show. The performers for this year's NFL showpiece game alongside halftime act Kendrick Lamar were all confirmed. Fox will broadcast Super Bowl LIX live from New Orleans , Louisiana on February 9, 2025.
Kendrick Lamar was already confirmed for the halftime show at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. But the national anthem performer and two other singers were announced by Fox. Jon Batiste leads the pregame lineup having been given the honor of performing the national anthem.

He was bandleader on Stay Human, who performed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert from 2015 to 2022. Batiste featured in a short video on Fox's Thanksgiving pregame show. The network was broadcasting the Dallas Cowboys' clash with the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
But before the game, the Super Bowl announcement was made by host Curt Menefee. "Jon Batiste here sitting on the block reminiscing about one of the biggest decisions of my life," the anthem performer said. "But music, lucky for me, has brought me back for the big game." Lamar's halftime show act was announced in September with an epic preview clip. The 37-year-old is one of the biggest musicians in the world and his beef with Drake has been the talk of the summer.
