At least one person has died after the small jet hit the ground near to Propwash Airport in Texas. It marks the third US plane crash in 24 hours and comes after a helicopter plunged into the Hudson River in New York, wiping out a Spanish family of five.

The small 2019 Saberwing Lightsport aircraft fell out of the sky at 7.15pm local time (1:15am UK time). Propwash Airport was the site of another air disaster (Picture: Metro) It is believed the pilot of the private jet, a 2019 experienced an issue with the small aircraft soon after take off from the airport.



Smoke billowed from the sky after the crash and a huge emergency response was present. A City of Justin spokesperson announced: 'Multiple investigations into this incident are currently underway.' 'We are actively working to gather more information and ensure the safety of those in the surrounding area,' added Justin Fire Chief Matthew Mitchell.
