Four people hospitalised after serious crash on Essex country lane

Essex Police have confirmed four people have been hospitalised after a serious crash on a country lane in North Weald.

Police are on the scene of a serious crash in Essex, with four people taken to hospital. The incident happened on Epping Road, North Weald, reported shortly before 10.30pm on Friday April 11, involving a silver Mercedes.

Initial witness accounts suggest the car may have been travelling alongside, or in convoy with, what’s described as a small silver or light-coloured car. That car was not present at the collision site, and we’d like to locate it to help progress the investigation. Four people have been taken to hospital for treatment.
