Four men and woman in court after Wirral gran of five shot to death

Ms Rutter, a grandmother of five, was one of four female victims of gun crime in Merseyside in 2022, along with nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel, Ashley Dale, 28, and Elle Edwards, 26, who was shot outside a pub in Wirral on Christmas Eve. Merseyside Police said the investigation into the 53-year-old's death had been “lengthy and complex”.
