Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix began with a bang with a live event nobody expected where Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice performed in real life at Times Square, New York. Then the same artists landed on the Chapter 2 island with Eminem as NPC bosses and took over popular POIs such as The Doggpound, Spaghetti Grotto, and Ice Isle. Now one more hip-hop artist is set to arrive, late rapper Juice WRLD who will also end the season with a concert in the game.
However, right before the final update 32.20 arrives, Fortnite players have one game-changing request to make with Epic to commemorate the rapper. Fortnite players want Epic to bring back 999 mats to commemorate Juice WRLD in Battle Royale Fortnite players have now requested an OG feature where players had a max limit of materials of 999 in a Battle Royale match to return to commemorate Juice WRLD’s arrival in Chapter 2 Remix.
To those unaware, 999 is the signature number Juice WRLD fans relate with as the late rapper had those tattooed on his arm. At the same time, fans who play Fortnite have noticed that the current maximum limit allows them to hold 500 materials in their inventory during a single match. Now they have requested Epic to bring back the OG limit as it would both serve as a flashback to Chapter 2 and commemorate the late rapper in a wholesome manner.
One fan who agreed wrote, “This sounds perfect.” Another similar user chimed in, “Yeah Fortnite should take some Risk. This will be the great step.
” On the other hand, some disagreed with the sentiment since they thought providing players with too many mats would increase the game’s difficulty level and lobbies would be more “sweatier” than they already are. Nonetheless, fans of Juice WRLD can rejoice as they can already spot graffiti of the late artist around the island now and must await the arrival of his skin and the WRLD Point POI. Furthermore, players can also claim a free Slayer Juice WRLD skin if they attend the upcoming live event on December 1, 2024.
