
The Fort Dorchester Boys Soccer team is out to a 5-5 start this season. The Patriots split their first two region matches, defeating West Ashley 2-0 March 18 on the Wildcats’ home field and falling 1-0 to Ashley Ridge March 21 on Steve LaPrad Field. Fort Dorchester also dropped a tight non-region match to Hanahan March 25 by a 1-0 margin.

Tuesday, April 1 and to travel to region foe Summerville for a 7 p.m. match Friday, April 4.
Ashley Ridge and James Island are tied for first place in Region 8-AAAAA, both with a 2-0 region record. Fort Dorchester and Summerville are tied for third place while West Ashley and Stall are tied for fifth place. Ashley Ridge improved to 10-3 on the season last week with wins over Waccamaw and Myrtle Beach.
The Swamp Foxes are scheduled to travel to James Island for a 7 p.m. match Tuesday, April 1 and to West Ashley for a 7 p.
m. match Friday, April 4. Summerville improved to 2-6-1 with a 3-2 win at Stall March 21.
The Green Wave is also scheduled to travel to West Ashley for a 7 p.m. match Tuesday, April 1.
Pinewood Prep enters this week with a 5-2-1 record and in first place for SCISA Region 2-AAA. The Panthers are scheduled to host Palmetto Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, April 3 and to host Berkeley at 7 p.m. Monday, April 7.
