The Kansas City Chiefs suffered their first loss of the season in Week 11 against the Buffalo Bills, with the final score settling in at 30-21. And while there were several reasons as to why the Chiefs lost this game, all eyes quickly turned to the team's star tight end Travis Kelce. Kelce is quarterback Patrick Mahomes' favorite target in the passing game, but against Buffalo, he was largely held in check.
Kelce finished the game with just two catches for eight yards, forcing Mahomes to find another way to move the football in the air. This is the latest in a line of quiet outings for Kelce, even though he seemed to be finding his way over the past three games, as he hauled in 32 passes for 254 yards and a touchdown. However, according to former Super Bowl champion James Jones, Kelce is in a great spot for a "get right" game in Week 12 against the Carolina Panthers.
"It is a get right game for sure, just not for Patty Mahomes," Jones said on FS1's "The Facility." "But for the Xavier Worthy, for the aging Travis Kelce, for the Justin Watson, for the DeAndre Hopkins, it's a get right game for you guys." .

twitter.com/l0RjdDPESM While Kansas City has only lost one game on the season, their passing attack has struggled along the way, due in large part to key playmakers such as Rashee Rice and Marquise Brown being out with injury. That's placed a big burden on the shoulders of Kelce and the rest of a rather mediocre supporting cast.
© Tina MacIntyre-Yee/Democrat and Chronicle / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images Going out and picking up DeAndre Hopkins in a trade with the Tennessee Titans has certainly helped, but Kelce is still Mahomes' favorite target, and when they aren't linking up the offense struggles to move the ball. Thankfully, the team draws a favorable matchup in Week 12 against the Panthers. Mahomes may not have a big day, but if his playmakers in the passing game can get back on track, it ultimately may not matter.
Kansas City will be heavily favored to get back in the win column in Week 12, with kickoff for this game being scheduled for 1 P.M. EST on Sunday, Nov.
