Former Golden Knights goaltender throws some shade at team

It would seem that former Vegas Golden Knights goalie Logan Thompson and the team did not part on the best of terms. The Golden Knights traded Thompson to the Washington Capitals this offseason — just as Thompson was set to sign autographs for the team's fans during the 2024 NHL Draft — to help reshuffle their goaltending depth chart. It is a fresh start for Thompson and an opportunity for him to split the net in Washington with Charlie Lindgren.

On Friday, Thompson was asked about the difference between playing for the Capitals and Golden Knights and he used that question as an opportunity to throw some shade at his former team.
