Former Georgia Bulldogs walk-on and fan favorite kicker Rodrigo Blankenship is off to an excellent start during the 2025 United Football League (UFL) season. Blankenship is a perfect seven for seven on his field goal attempts. Blankenship plays for the St.
Louis Battlehawks, who are 2-1 this season. The Battlehawks recently lost 27-15 to the DC Defenders, but Blankenship had an outstanding game. Blankenship made three out of three field goals including a new career long of 56 yards, which broke his previous career long of 55 yards (Georgia vs.
Oklahoma in the 2018 Rose Bowl). Five of Blankenship's seven made field goals have been from over 40 yards, which showcases his range. Blankenship is one of six former Georgia football players in the UFL.
