Though he is yet to post an official announcement on social media, Abdu cited "cultural differences" as the primary reason behind his decision. Talking about why he decided to call off the wedding , Abdu Rozik told ETimes , "As our relationship developed, we encountered some cultural differences that ultimately influenced this decision,” shared Abdu, reflecting on how his life experiences shaped his perspective on relationships.
He further added, "As you all know, I am recognised as a person of determination, which brings challenges in everyday life. It requires a partner, who is mentally resilient." Abdu then spoke about the need for a partner who is "mentally strong and prepared for the journey ahead," highlighting the importance of understanding and mutual effort.
“I owe much of my success to embracing my true self. I am deeply grateful for my health, and because of who I am, you all know me and have shown incredible support, which has helped me become so well-known," he said. He expressed his optimism about finding love again in life: “I trust that love will find me again when the time is right.
” On a concluding note, the Tajikistani singer said, “I thank you all for your unwavering support and well wishes during this time." Abdu Rozik had initially planned to get married on July 7 in Dubai. He had rescheduled the wedding owing to a boxing match.
