Forecasters have said there is a small chance that Suffolk could see snowfall next week. Weather forecaster WX Charts has predicted that snow could fall in parts of Suffolk. WX Charts predicts that snow could fall across the whole of Suffolk between Thursday, December 19 and Friday, December 20.

A Met Office spokesman has said that it looks "unlikely" that snow may fall, but weather forecasts may change in the build up to next week. Temperatures are expected to stay below 10C next week with strong winds again forecast for Friday and into the weekend. It comes after parts of the county experienced wintry scenes last month during a cold snap.

Snow settled in places north of the county including Oulton Broad, near Lowestoft. Over the weekend the county was battered by strong winds and heavy rain during Storm Darragh. Some homes were even left without power for 18 hours during the storm.
