The 29-year-old mother of one, who is married to Port Adelaide forward Jeremy, is currently battling terminal bowel cancer when she was just 25 years old. On Tuesday, she took to Instagram to reveal that she is often referred to as Gibson and hit out at the comparisons.

Gibson is an Australian scammer who falsely claimed to have cancer. She had built a social media empire following the untrue claims she had cured cancer through alternative medicines and special diets. In 2017, Gibson was fined $410,000 for misleading readers, having been found guilty of five breaches of consumer law.
