Football round-up: Hitchin snatch late draw at Biggleswade Town

Three goals in eight minutes midway through the half though swung the game firmly in Irish's favour. Baldock Town meanwhile won 2-1 away to Sawbridgeworth Town in the first round of the Herts Senior Challenge Cup, Goals from George Kingham and Remell Stirling set up a second-round clash away to Cheshunt.

Letchworth Eagles moved up to first in SSML Division One with a 4-3 win away to Huntingdon Town, two goals coming from Rod Agyeman-Duah and one each for Jack Trickett and Mokbul Ali. And in Division Two of the SSML, Sean McMonagle was on target twice as Codicote won 2-0 at home to Caddington..
