With Chinese New Year just days away, many people will be looking for ways to celebrate and welcome the Year of the Snake. Every year people gather to mark the occasion in Newcastle city centre , where the iconic Lion and Dragon Dance Parade makes its way through the city before completing its journey at Stowell Street, the home of Newcastle's Chinatown. This year's event will take place on Sunday, February 2.
