(Submitted photo) COAL GROVE — The ground may have been a bit muddy, but there was a break from the rain just long enough on Saturday for families to come out for River Run Health Care’s East egg hunt at Paul Porter Park. The park was crowded with dozens of families for the event, which featured age specific egg hunts, Easter basket giveaways, a meeting with the Easter Bunny and bag lunches for children. River Run Health Care has locations in Coal Grove, Ironton and Portsmouth.

The event was one of the first for the holiday in the county this year. Easter Sunday is April 20..
