The ACC is a new beast this year, for better or worse. And what better way to welcome a newbie than a matchup with the reigning conference champs? SMU hosts Florida State in Week 5. Both squads are looking for statement wins as ACC play gets into full swing.
The Mustangs could be serious contenders when it comes to the championship game. The 2023 AAC Champions, they enter their third season under Rhett Lashlee, and if it's anything like last year, they'll make some waves as they join the power conference. The Seminoles, on the other hand, are struggling, losing three straight to open the season.
