Florida Sheriff Releases Mug Shot Of 11-Year-Old Accused Of School Shooting Threat

Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood released the mug shot and 'perp walk' video of an 11-year-old boy accused of making a written threat against a Central Florida school. The sheriff stated the boy had a list of names and targets and claimed it was all a joke. Deputies confiscated airsoft guns, knives, swords, and other weapons from the boy's home.

Several students across the state – and at least one out of state – have been arrested and booked into jail on charges of making a written threat, according to those agencies.It comes weeks after the deadly school shooting outside Atlanta, Georgia, where a 14-year-old boy is suspected of shooting and killing four people and injuring nine others at Apalachee High School.
