Flood water inundates houses in Thoothukudi; more than 100 flooded

CHENNAI: Due to heavy rainfall, flood water inundated houses in Thoothukudi, as reported by Thanthi TV. More than 100 houses in the Punnaikayal area where the Tamirabarani river merges with the sea have been flooded. Residents in those areas were severely affected.
