After 14 consecutive days of Flagstaff’s high temperature reaching at least 80 degrees, Oct. 9’s high of 77 degrees finally broke the streak. While the National Weather Service’s (NWS) forecast currently does not expect another day hitting 80 degrees, the extended stretch of record heat included nine record daily high temperatures in addition to tying two other days.
