His heart sinks when Joe adds fuel to his theory that Ross and Dawn are in a relationship, leading him to confront Ross. A scuffle ensues between the two men. When Dawn walks in, Billy is embarrassed to have inadvertently voiced his suspicions about her infidelity in front of Clemmie.

Angered by his blunder, Billy attempts to console Clemmie, but she rebuffs him, leaving Billy disheartened as he realises his suspicions were misplaced. Distraught over his misjudgement, Billy finds solace in Joe. As a distraught Billy embraces him, Joe is filled with remorse knowing he's the source of Billy's anguish.

Billy departs from Home Farm, and Joe reassures a guilt-ridden Dawn that it's for the best. Billy apologises to Ross for his previous day's outburst. When Ross advises Billy not to let his issues with Dawn affect his relationship with the children, Billy is left contemplating his words.

With Ross's advice in mind, Billy shows up at Home Farm with flowers for Dawn. As he apologises for accusing her of infidelity, Dawn is consumed with guilt and they both dread telling their children about their separation. When the children return home, Clemmie remains cautious of Billy.

Lucas enquires if Billy will be staying over again, prompting Billy and Dawn to decide it's time to explain their divorce. With a heavy heart, Billy and Dawn share the news of their separation with Clemmie and Lucas, and Billy struggles to come to terms with the reality of moving away from his children. Later, Billy departs Home Farm for good, and Kim, showing sympathy, offers him a place in the holiday cottage until he finds somewhere else to live.

Caleb and Ruby breathe a sigh of relief upon learning that DI Roberts is investigating a depot break-in, not Anthony's disappearance. After DI Roberts leaves, Joe approaches to gloat, prompting Caleb to confront him. Cain swiftly steps in, growing concerned about the escalating tension.

Later, Kim is surprised to find Cain waiting for her, intent on resolving the feud between Caleb and Joe. As they discuss potential solutions, Joe walks in, and Kim doesn't hesitate to lay down some hard truths to keep both men out of jail. Later, a cautious Caleb and Ruby arrive at Home Farm to find Joe and Cain awaiting them, while Kim prepares to end this conflict.

When the meeting descends into squabbling, Kim proposes a truce by offering compensation to Caleb - the land surrounding his depot. Faced with Kim's firm final offer, Caleb is left pondering. With the agreement sealed, Kim is left alone with Joe.

When Joe assures her he won't betray her again, a determined Kim pledges to help him keep their enemies close and build an invincible empire. Victoria meets John's former soldier friend, Connor. As they share memories of John, Victoria is shocked to discover that Aidan is still alive.

Connor confides in Victoria about the events in Afghanistan and discloses that Aidan is comatose in a Leeds hospital, leaving Victoria staggered by the news. At the hospital, Victoria visits Aidan's room as directed but swiftly exits, disturbed by the reality. Later, John is caught out when Victoria reveals her knowledge about Aidan.

Following this revelation, a flustered John goes into flight mode while Victoria scolds him for his dishonesty. Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. You'll receive daily updates on breaking news as well as the top headlines across Scotland.
