Five family-friendly Easter activities in Bucks

With the Easter holiday for Bucks schools coming up next week, museums, parks and farms have organised events to keep families busy through the break.

On the hunt for Easter activities? Check out this list of five activities taking place in the county throughout the holiday. Easter Egg Hunt - Princes Risborough Princes Risborough Town Council have organised an Easter egg hunt along the high street from April 7-19. Children can sign up by going into Puffin Cove, La Crepe Escape, Shaw Trust and Princes Risborough Library to collect a trail form accompanied by an adult.

Participating businesses will have eggs in their shop windows with secret letters inside. Once all the letters have been found, they will form a name for the Easter Bunny. Once the trail sheet is complete, it can be swapped for a treat bag at Princes Risborough Library.



Find out more: Princes Risborough Town Council Eggcellent Science at Bucks Museum Bucks Museum are running Easter science workshops on April 7 and 14 at 10:15 am, 12:15 pm, and 2:15 pm. Children will learn how to dissolve an eggshell and make a bouncy egg. The workshops are an hour long each and cost £7 per child.

They have a range of other activities through the holidays including 'Hatch a Dinosaur', 'Bucks Back in Time' and 'Make a Pinhole Camera'. Find out more: Eggcellent Science at Discover Bucks Museum | Visit Aylesbury Operation Mission Bunny at the Eden Centre The Eden Centre will be hosting an Easter Bunny-themed trail from April 7-17. Clover Cottontail and Holly Hoperson will give accompanied children a trail card to find ten clues to learn how to become an honorary bunny.

It costs £2 per child, each child will receive and Easter egg to take home, with dairy free alternatives available. Find out more: Operation Mission Bunny - Eden Shopping Spring on the Farm at Hogshaw Farm and Wildlife Park Hogshaw Farm and Wildlife Park will celebrate the season of Spring from April 5-21. They are offering lamb bottle feeding and opportunities to see hatching chicks, new goat kids, and the Easter Bunny.
