Compared to the All-in-One Automatic Baby Bottle Washer which we reviewed about a month ago, this machine for modern mums is another remarkable innovation to help keep your baby feeding clean and healthy. The most critical things about caring for a baby is cleaning and sterilizing their feeding bottles.
Since babies are highly susceptible to germs and sickness, we need to ensure our baby bottles are as clean as possible before letting my baby feed from them. It was another exciting moment to receive this other model of the bottle washing machine, the Grownsy model no: ZMW-STHB01-3. We got this machine about 7 days ago, we have been testing it since then and I am really impressed with what it can do.
Overview of The Grownsy Bottle Washer This bottle washing machine thoroughly cleans, sterilizes, and dries baby bottles to ensure they are hygienically clean and safe for a baby to reuse; It features 12 directional jet sprays and 14 swirling jet sprays to ensure all the residue is washed off the bottles. Then, it uses a 212°F high-temperature steam-based deep sterilization process to destroy up to 99.9% of all bacteria in the baby bottles.
Once it is done, hot air dries the bottles to ensure no water residue or bacteria is left behind. I am also impressed with its large capacity for holding various baby feeding accessories, such as teething toys, breast pumps, food bowls, and bottle parts. It allows me to wash everything at once without needing to do it multiple times.
You don’t need any special technical knowledge or skills to operate the device, either, as it also comes with an easy to understand manual to help you operate the machine. It has four selectable modes clearly displayed on the front interface that you can choose from, such as; Fast Wash, Standard Wash Sterilization Drying and Storage The Fast is 19 minutes and 29 minutes for standard wash time. You can decide to switch off the 10 mins sterilization if you don’t want it.
But drying and storage seems to take longer and may not be needed when you want a quicker solution. The detachable water tank allows for hassle-free cleaning and refills at your convenience. Please make sure you fill up the tank to the minimum line, the machine will take as much as it needs and the reserve will remain in the tank.
But if you don’t give it enough water, it will also send you an error message asking for more water. I am quite happy with this device because it cleans far better than my initial hand washing and microwave sterilizer. The Grownsy Bottle Washer comes with other accessories and items, including one drain hose, one power cord, and 30 detergent tablets.
This is everything I need to operate this baby bottle washing machine and ensure it functions efficiently without any issues. Comparison with Grownsy All-in-One Automatic Baby Bottle Washer We were really impressed with the first machine we got and I understand some people recommended the Grownsy All-in-One Automatic Baby Bottle Washer, which is another variation of Grownsy’s line of baby bottle washing machines. These 2 products render the same service, but the question is; which of these machines would you prefer to use? Well, I can honestly say that both models have quite a few similarities between them.
They are both multi use cleaning solutions for baby bottles and other baby feeding accessories. They both have 360-degree washing and cleaning, along with sterilizing and drying, as part of a similar three-stage process. They both eliminate 99.
9% of germs and bacteria from the bottles and accessories using a high-temperature steam sterilization process. They both have a capacity that is large enough to clean four baby bottles at the same time. You will also receive 30 detergent tablets with each one.
All those things are great. However, I did notice some slight differences between the two baby bottle washer models. For instance, the All-in-One Automatic Bottle Washer has a whopping 40 powerful jet sprays to clean the bottles, whereas the ZMW-STHB01-3 has only 26 jet sprays.
The 40 power jets include 31 directional jets and 9 rotating jets. Do you really need 40 powerful jet sprayers? Well, if you care about deep cleaning like I do, then you will probably want to have more jets. Of course, I’m sure 26 jets are still good enough to wash away residue, but why not have 40 sprays? Right? The more sprays there are, the better chance there will be to remove all the nasty food particles and debris stuck to the sides of the bottle.
In addition, I noticed that with the proper arrangement, the All-in-One Automatic Bottle Washer can hold up to six bottles. It seems to be a taller design than the ZMW-STHB01-3, allowing me to use bigger bottles in it. I don’t necessarily need that for my baby, but some of you out there may think that is a good thing to have for your baby.
I’ll leave that up to you to decide. The last thing to mention is the price. The Grownsy Bottle Washer ZMW-STHB01-3 is currently priced at $279.
99, whereas the all-in-one is now priced at $335.99 . So, if you’re after the cheapest price, the former is the better choice.
My Recommendation I enjoyed using both Grownsy baby bottle washers. I think each one does many of the same things in terms of cleaning, sterilizing, and drying the bottles and baby accessories. The only real difference I found was the number of jet sprayers available.
Although they all deliver a powerful 24,000 PA of water pressure, the higher quantity of jets with the All-in-One is worth your consideration. With that being said, I did notice the All-in-One has only 9 rotating jets, even though it has 31 directional jets. The Grownsy Bottle Washer ZMW-STHB01-3 has 14 rotating jets, even though it has 12 directional jets.
That means despite its smaller jet count, it still has more rotating jets than the all-in-one model. I don’t really know if that’s a good thing or bad thing because I haven’t noticed much of a cleaning difference personally. But if you think rotating jets are better than directional jets, you might prefer the Grownsy Bottle Washer over the all-in-one model.
In the end, I think I will continue using the All-in-One Automatic Baby Bottle Washer since I am already used to it, while keeping this ZMW-STHB01-3 model Bottle Washing Machine on standby in case the first one breaks. Maybe I will even use both of them if we need to clean more bottles and baby accessories at the same time.
