First quarter scoring surge leads Princeton to first win of season over Princeton Day

It took Princeton a couple of games to get traction at the start of the season but the Tigers finally broke through to the win column with a 5-1 win over host Princeton Day on Wednesday. It was the second CVC game of the year for Princeton as the Tigers evened their conference record to 1-1 after having lost their season opener 5-3 to Notre Dame. On Monday, Princeton suffered its second straight loss in an 8-1 decision to Philadelphia area power Agnes Irwin.
