First picture of two-year-old killed in accident Carter Walsh died in an accident (Image: GoFundMe ) A two-year-old boy who died in his home in Wigan has been named and pictured for the first time. Carter Walsh died in a "fatal accident" yesterday (Wednesday, September 18). Carter was rushed to hospital following the accident but died a short time later.

A fundraising appeal has been set up in Carter's memory, calling on people to donate to help his family. The page reads: "Hi my name is Karen I am doing a go fund page on behalf of my niece Samantha who has tragically loss her two year old son Carter to a fatal accident." ‌ A spokesperson for Bolton Coroners' Court, which covers Wigan, confirmed the toddler's name.
