The first matches are official for WWE NXT Stand & Deliver. NXT Champion Oba Femi will defend his title in a triple threat match at the WrestleMania weekend event, facing Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans. The match has been teased for weeks, but was made official on Tuesday’s WWE NXT episode where GM Ava booked the bout following an in-ring confrontation between the three.
A ladder match for the Women’s North American Championship is also official for the Saturday, April 19 show, with a series of qualifying matches deciding the six competitors. Zaria and Kelani Jordan became the first two wrestlers to qualify for the bout on Tuesday’s episode following Stephanie Vaquer’s decision to vacate the title. Vaquer vacated the Women’s North American title on Tuesday’s show in a segment with Ava, contingent on Ava allowing Vaquer to choose her opponent for an NXT Women’s Championship defense at Stand & Deliver.
Jordynne Grace vs. Jaida Parker in an unofficial number one contender’s match is set for next Tuesday’s NXT. Stand & Deliver will stream on Peacock in the United States and Netflix in the rest of the world on Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.
