First bands revealed for alternative music festival coming to south Essex

The rest of the line-up will be announced in 2025.

Undercover Festival, which is set to take place on September 26 and 27, will see two days of punk, ska, post-punk, alt-folk, and alternative music at The Showground, Battlesbridge Antiques Centre, in Battlesbridge. The festival has announced the first few bands that will take to the stage, including Scotland's Skids, Essex's Eddie and The Hot Rods, plus Popes of Chillitown, and Spizzenergi. The rest of the line-up will be announced in 2025.

Organiser Mick promised attendees won’t find anything like Undercover Festival. He added: “Come along and find out what the fuss is about. "If you like your music alternative you will love what we have to offer at Undercover.



.. as we say at Undercover ‘See Ya Down The Front’.

” Tickets for the festival are £79 and include camping, showers, parking, and attractions such as a museum, record shops, and vintage sellers. There will also be merchandise stalls, a festival bar, and food stands on site. A limited number of tickets are available online from Gigantic or in person at Intense Records in Chelmsford and Fives Record Shop in Leigh.
