Prayagraj: Officials of Prayagraj district fire department on Thursday conducted a fire audit at the Indian Farmers Fertilizers Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) Phulpur plant. Senior officials, led by chief fire officer (Prayagraj) RK Pandey inspected the entire plant along with the plant's security officer, Sanjeev Kumar Saxena. On the occasion, a demonstration of fire hydrants, monitor branch, sprinkler system, smoke alarm system, detection system, auto mode system, ABC fire extinguisher and CO2 fire extinguisher installed at various places was also conducted.
Fire department officials also issued safety tips to the plant officials to deal with any emergency. Students of the National Fire Institute Nagpur, Maharashtra, were also present. They were taken on a tour and trained to deal with any disaster.
