Fire engulfs PMPML bus at Swargate depot, no one injured

Pune: A PMPML bus parked at the workshop of Swargate bus depot caught fire around 9.45am on Saturday. No one was injured in the incident.

The PMPML staff used fire extinguishers and controlled the fire at its initial stage. A fire tender was deployed after they called the city fire brigade around 11am. The fire brigade officials sprayed water on the bus and extinguished the fire within 15 minutes.



According to the fire brigade officials, the fire broke out in the bus when the workers were executing repair work. The exact reason behind the cause of the fire is not yet known..
