Fire crew called to incident in Hereford street

THE fire service has provided an update after a crew was called to an incident in Hereford on the weekend.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: "A crew was called at 6.46pm on March 29 to a rubbish and refuse fire in Hunderton Avenue, Hereford. "A fire involving refuse had been extinguished before the arrival of the service but a thermal imaging camera was used.

"The incident was marked as pending closure at 7pm." Hunderton Avenue is a residential street in the Hunderton area of Hereford, near the Asda superstore.
