Ludhiana: The police have filed an FIR against a local scribe for extortion. The scribe has been identified as Manoj Heera , who runs an independent web channel. The FIR was lodged on a complaint by Chetan Baweja, a resident of Chandigarh Road.
He is the president of an NGO, Mahadev Seva Dal. He said a case was filed against him. The scribe published biased news against him and started blackmailing him, demanding money.
